About Invesco DB Precious Metals Fund (AMEX:DBP) Stock

The Invesco DB Precious Metals Fund endeavors to replicate the fluctuations, positive or negative, in the DBIQ Optimum Yield Precious Metals Index Excess Return. This performance is augmented by interest income derived primarily from the Fund's holdings of U.S. Treasury securities and money market instruments, after accounting for its operational expenses. It provides investors with a cost-efficient and convenient avenue to gain exposure to commodity futures. The underlying Index is a systematic benchmark composed of futures contracts on two key precious metals: gold and silver. Both the Fund and the Index are rebalanced and reconstituted each November. Due to its highly speculative trading within inherently volatile markets, this Fund carries significant risks and is not suitable for all ... investors. The substantial price movements characteristic of futures contracts can result in considerable financial losses.
